Once repairs are complete, we begin the surface preparation. Surface prep involves grinding the floor with a diamond wheel floor grinder to ensure the epoxy resin adheres to the concrete. After the surface prep is complete, we’ll pour the desired number of coats of epoxy. We’ll finish the floor with a layer of topcoat and allow it time to cure. The floor needs 24 hours to cure 90% and 72 hours to cure 100%.
