Durability

Our company understands the high demands of an industrial floor. That’s why we only work with the most durable, highest quality industrial epoxy materials available! Our epoxy floors can withstand hard impacts from heavy objects, rough abrasions, constant foot, and vehicle traffic, and heavy equipment or machinery weight. These factors will not damage your industrial epoxy floor or cause it to wear down prematurely. This durability will ensure that your industrial facility saves time and money on expensive repairs and time-consuming replacement jobs.

Ease of Maintenance

The ease of maintenance when it comes to industrial epoxy floor coatings is one of the most beneficial factors for this floor. Companies can save hundreds of man-hours that would generally be spent trying to keep conventional flooring systems clean and intact. Industrial epoxy simply needs to be swept, or dust mopped daily and occasionally wet mopped if the floor becomes heavily soiled for some reason. That’s all you and your employees need to do to make your industrial epoxy floor last as long as possible!

Chemical Resistance

Industrial epoxy flooring is highly resistant to a wide variety of chemicals. These facilities are regularly exposed to a broad assortment of harsh chemicals that can damage most other traditional types of flooring. Our concrete coatings are designed to withstand the damaging effects of these chemicals without tarnishing the floor’s finish or structural integrity. If a spill occurs, simply wipe up the spill with the proper supplies or PPE. Your floor should still be as beautiful as the day we installed it when you’re finished.

Longevity

Having a floor that will last for years is essential to any industrial facility. With the constant wear and tear, among other damaging factors, this can be difficult to achieve with conventional flooring systems. However, industrial epoxy is designed to last as long as possible, despite the wear and tear of these settings. When properly installed and maintained, an industrial epoxy floor should last for 25 years or more!

Industrial Epoxy Installation

Our installation process begins by cleaning and inspecting your concrete base for damage. Any damage that is present will be repaired by our team. Once repairs are complete, we begin the surface preparation. Surface prep involves grinding the floor with a diamond wheel floor grinder to ensure the epoxy resin adheres to the concrete. After the surface prep is complete, we’ll pour the desired number of coats of epoxy. We’ll finish the floor with a layer of topcoat and allow it time to cure. The floor needs 24 hours to cure 90% and 72 hours to cure 100%.

Why Hire a Professional?

Hiring a professional may not seem like the first choice for many industrial facilities who like to do things in-house. However, the DIY kits available at Big Box stores are not of the same quality and will not last nearly as long as ours. Our team has the skills and experience to finish your flooring project while minimizing your facility’s downtime as well!

Frequently Asked Questions

t

Why is industrial epoxy better than traditional concrete flooring?

Concrete has been the industry standard for many years now. However, that doesn’t mean it can’t be improved upon. Epoxy flooring has many advantages over traditional concrete flooring. Epoxy is more resistant to damage, chemicals, and especially water. Hard impacts are quick to crack and chip concrete floors while chemicals and water will permeate its surface, leaving stains and corrosion. Epoxy is even more resistant to temperature changes, which allows them to last much longer than concrete. This increased longevity will make your floor more cost-efficient as well! Even the maintenance for epoxy is less labor-intensive and more affordable than concrete.

t

Will the flakes in decorative flake epoxy wear out?

No. Even though these flakes are near the surface of the floor and exposed to your facility’s foot and vehicle traffic, they will not wear down. The thin topcoat that we apply over the acrylic chips is more than enough to protect them, and they are inherently durable themselves. Generally, the decorative flakes will outlast the coating!
